About Tapwah
Tapwah lets people with an app idea build a real iPhone app by describing it, from any computer with a browser.
Why Tapwah exists
Lots of people have an idea for an app: a sign-up sheet for their club, a tracker for a family routine, a tool for a small business. Until now, building one for the iPhone has meant buying a Mac, installing Apple’s developer software and learning to code. That’s a lot to take on for a club sign-up sheet.
AI can now write much of an app’s code, but the setup around it is still built for developers. Tapwah puts the whole setup on our side: the Macs, the developer tools, the AI agent and the iPhone screen. You bring the idea and describe it.
How we work
Tapwah builds native iPhone apps with Apple’s own toolkit, so what you make looks and behaves like an iPhone app. We write for people who don’t code, and when we have to use a developer term, we explain it. We also tell you what Tapwah can’t do yet, what costs money outside Tapwah, such as Apple’s developer account, and which steps are still coming.
Where things stand
Tapwah is new. Today you can build and try iPhone apps in your browser on the free plan. Help with publishing to the App Store and a Pro plan are coming next. See how it works.
